The new Aseptic compounding suite was built to allow Baxter Healthcare to service hospitals within a 20-mile radius with their compounded products. The facility was built within an existing shell and comprises of grade C compounding rooms containing 10 isolators, each with rapid gassing facility using VHP.
The works undertaken by Bassaire included all aspects of the project from; structural assessments, planning permission, building control compliance, HVAC, Electrical and Civil works design, installation, commissioning and validation.
"The project was completed on time and on budget, having overcome serious delays associated with the existing structure, within the same planned time frame. The project was completed in a non-adversarial manner with all parties pulling together to achieve a common successful outcome." - Martin Christie - Facilities and Equipment Supervisor, Baxter Healthcare Ltd
