ISO Class 4 Cleanrooms c/w Analytical Laboratories
A free standing 2 storey facility was constructed within an existing building.
The facility consisted of class 10,000 cleanrooms and packaging area to the ground floor with micro, chemistry and analytical labs on the first floor.
The total area was just over 1000sqm and included walls, floors, mezzanine and walk on ceilings.
The services comprised of 4 number new ahus and separate ventilation systems.
Located on the first floor mezzanine was the plant room housing purified water, steam plant, specialist gases, heating plant, power and electrics to include a biometric entry system.
The fit out included a new autoclave, laboratory furniture, powder booth, cold store and fume cupboard. The chiller plant and compressed air equipment were located outside to the rear.
The architectural, structural and planning approvals were all handled by Bassaire.
The project was successfully completed and with in budget.
