cGMP Lozenge Manufacturing Facility - Grade D at Rest

A new facility to allow lozenge production was designed, constructed, tested and commissioned by Bassaire Ltd. The facility was designed around the new process equipment layout, of which a major requirement was the high bay area (9.0m high). The facility, which covered an area of 312m² was designed to ensure that the high heat gains within the space were offset and that good air patterns were achieved throughout both the high and low level areas.

An additional feature of the facility was the use of a dedicated plant area formed above the low level area of the facility using a plant mezzanine. This housed all process plant utility equipment, along with the HVAC plant for this and future facilities that were planned for the site.
